  • i did a day-by-day account here.

i had fun. and lots of it. biggrin.gif

i had quite a few interesting "sightings" this year, more so than in previous years, ha ha. the list of acts i saw and what i thought in a nutshell (i'm counting the ones i watched more than 10-15-ish minutes of, including day shows):

Mono (the one from Japan; they were awesome)
    Les Georges Leningrad (funny)
    Enon (pretty good)
    The Wrens (pretty good)
Soundtrack of Our Lives (great instore)
    Adem (good)
    The Bravery (good)
    Radio Four (ok)
    VHS or Beta (fun)
Graham Coxon (rocked so hard. huzzah!)
    The Kills (great live act)
    Shout Out Louds (ok)
    Bloc Party (great)
Kasabian (not a fan, but i must admit they are amusing live performers)
    New York Dolls (great)
Pretty Girls Make Graves (kinda boring; I left pretty soon... maybe after 15 min.)
    Doves (great instore)
Tom Vek (great; one of the stand-outs this year, for me at least)
    Hard-fi (unpleasant for me)
    Magic Numbers (ok)
Nine Black Alps (between good and great)
    Idlewild (great)
    Phoenix (really fun)
