Just curious - what other message boards do you guys belong to? Or "stalk"? Are there any boards that you count on to recommend new music to you?

Just doing some research around the web and thought I'd ask my ok go boardies.

    i'm a member over on the redwalls forum. but i don't really talk much. i usually just lurk.

    i'm also a member on a couple of hanson forums. i usually hear about quite a few bands on them. we have a bunch of posts for "recommending your favorite bands" and lots of people often post about really good bands & such. that's how i hear about a lot of the bands i currently like. everybody is all connected to hanson somehow. even ok go & the redwalls. haha.

    I'm part of the Redwalls board. Same with the kings of leon board. That one is kind of confusing though, so i don't go on it a lot.

    not really anymore. I used to be members of loads of boards but i don't post on them enough to care about them haha.

    I'm part of the Redwalls board, too. And the Paul McCartney board as well. That one's rather interesting, it is.

    i only belong to lola ray and ok go's message boards. i dont like lola rays. theres alot of mean ppl who dont enjoy a good llama joke. i love you guys way beter.

    The first messageboard I actually belonged to and used to try to visit regularly was the Clumsy Congress (Our Lady Peace messageboard) but I've long since drifted. I've occasionally visited and posted on the boards for Weezer, Incubus, Rooney unsure.gif ...I don't even remember my sn or passwords for any of them, but I don't see myself visiting them anytime soon or ever really!

    The OK Go board is my current home, since I'm still coming back three years and running. I've also learned to pay attention to music suggestions here. Occasionally I visit the stellastarr* messageboard. It's cool looking and they have a whole subforum dedicated to "Other Bands," which I think is a smart idea. cool.gif

    For these I'm not a regular, but I may pop in and post or read show reviews: Sparta, Kill Hannah, The Music...

    The Cauterize board is really good for finding new bands for me. That's the only other board I go to anymore....

    I was, though, one of the original members of the first Good Charlotte message board aaaages ago. And I frequented the Wakefield board for a while when they had it.

    Here, KH and Abandoned Pools. I used to post on the Smashing Pumpkins and Zwan boards until they were taken down... for awhile I think I was on the Starsailor board before it became too British.

    i used to think about bestowing my serious radness on the muse boards but it was around the last election and i hate it when people from other countries try to decide, from three thousand miles away, who is our best president and who sould be running OUR country. ah.....british 15 year olds are the best. needless to say i never even registered. i'm on a board where i can talk hockey and a board for a band none of you have ever heard of called self and one that my friend runs from his site... http://xupas.mysticalhead.net/sosimpo/

    I'm a member of various boards, but the Rooney board is the only one (other than this one) that I post on. It's been getting annoying over there ever since Rooney was on the OC though..it's become really really catty.

    one of the main things i liked about the old capitol boards is you could post on ALL the bands' board.

    Yeah, that's why I was on the Starsailor boards! I think I was on Coldplay and the Vines for awhile...

    i am (or was) a frequent poster on the Keane forum but i haven't been on in a while because it's been taken over by teenage girls who say 'OMG TOM CHAPLIN IS SOOOOO HOT!!!!!!!' so there's not much to talk about.
