i think its a sign

ok ever have one of those days where the same band is seen or heard the whole day by pure luck? i mean they are on the radio, numerous t.v. performances all in one day. or am i the only one that has those days?
i've had it with
1. spoon
2. the flaming lips
3. and today its was~~~~> franz ferdinand

they were on some internet radio, played on acl, and now on snl.

yah so i had to post a picture of the guys cause yah its franz and i'm in love with alex and nick

    That happens all the time for me, and sometimes bands that I don't want to listen to, are on the radio tv, convos... so I hate those lol

    nah, you're not alone on that... i've definitely had days where the same band seemed to keep poping up in random places...

    haha good i thought i was going crazy. lol

    i'm almost had a panic! one but i didn't see them on tv, only heard them like 3 times on the xm radio.

    I TOTALLY get that. I shelve books and I start to see my friends names everywhere. I mean, it's bound to happen with any name as there are so many books, but it's creepy nonetheless.

    i've had that happen to me all the time. or when i see something and it reminds me of something funny and you are the only one laugh. i've had that happen to me all the time.

    It's so weird when that happens, cuz you're thinking of a certain person, and then you look up and they mention the name on TV or hear it on the radio, or you see the name when you drive by something, and little stuff like that. I remember I was thinking about some Mike guy, and then there was a sign with his name on it, it was for auto parts lmao but random non the less, then I saw the date he was born in. I've also gotten to see my lucky, favourite, whatever you wanna call it, number, on the bus I used to have for my last 2 yrs of HS, and the one I took when going to Uni, my friends apartment number, MOVIES (yeah), and on TV shows, or when I randomly look up to see the time, it's there *my # is a 3 digit # btw* so I think that's pretty cool when it happens.

    YAY FOR FRANZ DAY! smile.gif I saw them on SNL, they were awesome. Alex stomped around and jumped a lot, it was glorious.

    They were on SNL?! WTF, and I was out karaoking "Take Me Out" at the time. Sheer irony, I tell you!
    Now I have to watch E! and find out when they'll show it next. Just terrific.

    Well, it was a rerun actually, haha, so you didn't miss out on a new performance. I have no idea when they'll show it again, though.

    You get an assignment! Tell me the next time it's on, and I'll record it and upload it to YouTube! Because I got this fantastic little gadget that lets me watch tv on the computer and I have plans to record any and all Franz/OK Go related things with it. Not to mention "Days of our Lives" haha biggrin.gif

    Well, I'll try. I actually found out from someone on LJ who posted it to the Franz community. So, you know, if you were on LJ, maybe you'd find out...also, I should have remembered to tell you, ooops....

    The episode originally aired last October, and this weekend was the second and last time they'll rerun it on NBC, so YouTube or E! would be your best bet.

    Might this gadget be a Lyra? Cuz then I also have a little gadget that will let me record anything on TV, VCR, DVD and then put it up on the comp. I love it.

    haha, no, it's this Dell Angel TV tuner that came with my brother's $4000 laptop the other day. I promptly stole it from him and recorded Family Guy. It's soooo fabulous. I can't live without it now.

    That sounds like a cool little gadget. The one I have cost over 400 bucks though haha, I can listen to music, load files/documents onto it, I can also load pics, watch vids and movies, it's fantastic.
