Good Morning America

edited November -1 in OK Go
So apparently in my office I am synonymous with OK Go, because ALL MORNING I have been getting calls and e-mails - "I saw your favorite band on Good Morning America today! They said the Treadmill Video might win a Grammy!" It would seem that GMA showed a clip from HIGA several times this morning. Here's hoping the buzz pays off and they win!!!

  • You almost gave me a mild heart attack, missy! ohmy.gif I read your post so quickly that I thought they were actually in the studios this morning and I missed a NYC stalking opportunity. rolleyes.gif

Sorry! :-( I know, until I found out the details, getting all the "Did you see your boys on Good Morning America" calls made me scream "Wait, why didn't Mr. Mr. Mr. Jorge, Whom I Adore, Whom I Adore, Whom I Adore TELL US????"

And, you know, then I found out what was up and calmed down. cool.gif
  • You scared me too for a second! But that's pretty great. GMA seems to love them, even though they cancelled on them that one time. I wish I could have seen it, but I'm never awake early enough to watch it. I'm definitely in hibernating mode.
  • Haha. Everytime I come upon OK Go on TV, I totally freak out, like when they were on 20/20 and Carson Daly New Year's Eve, I TiVoed both of them. Once, I was on the computer and from the sunroom, I heard "Here It Goes Again" from the TV (the Nike Commercial) and I was REEAAALLLY excited.

OH! I heard that commercial in my kitchen once and tried running to see it. I failed miserably, and fell. Quick corners and no sense of balance or coordination do not go well together.

Haha, I suppose that commercial is too elusive for us, eh? Maybe next time when I'm not on the computer, I will hunt down this commercial...yes...muahaha.
  • I love when Ok Go are on TV. It's way more exciting than watching them on the internet.
That's why I was so ticked off when I missed them on New Year's Eve. Mr. Mr. Mr. Jorge, Whom I Adore, Whom I Adore, Whom I Adore said they would be on channel 5, but they were on channel 4! GAAAGH! It totally ruined 2007 for me. Just kidding. But still. dry.gif

It's the same with me. I've got names, movie titles, but most especially, band names that are trigger words for me. I can be sitting in the hall at lunch and hear someone across the hall and a few groups of people away say "pirate" and my head flings over in the direction, lol. I do that when I hear "OK" now, because I expect to hear "go" right after tongue.gif No one aside from Emily and I really discuss OK Go much at all, so sadly I don't hear much about them. But there are different words I can referance to their songs and stuff, haha. It's fun smile.gif
  • A lady in the department next to ours was on the phone today and said, "I shoulda known ... I shoulda known ..." Talking, but exactly the same timing as in HIGA. I was like, " blink.gif laugh.gif "
