Here is an article ina a portuguese magazine about ok go.I'm sorry if this isn't exactly recent...
I should say that this magazine is one of the few that has credibility in a way that there are articles about many musicians and kinds of music, not only about pop music (I'm sorry if it's too many information).
(I'm just going to translate it, I'm previously sorry for any spelling or gramatical mistake that I can make)

with these four americans, youtube went from another curious website to a powerfull promoting tool. It was just a matter of time.
Two months ago no one knew anything about them. But a video launched on youtube, a website where any one can post video contents, ruined this north-american's palns of vacation. Ok Go, the group that was compared to Cheap Trick's power pop and T. Rex's glam-rock.
Oh No, the second album of the band was released in August 2005, and it wasn't expected that it made as much sucess as the self-titled and debut album (moderated sucess, especially between the yankees). However, the lead singue Daniel Kulash and his fellows companions already knew that the power of changing carrers is on criativity and not on normal marketing. "A million ways" was the first single of the second album and it had to be a low-budget video, since that was part of the promotion campaign of Capitol Records.
Recorded in one single take, the video was shot on the backyard of Daniel Kulash where they were dancing a coreography created by the lead singer's sister.The low-budget video became a hit on Youtube becoming the most uploaded video ever.(I particularly like this part fellow boardies) Excited by the sucess, Ok Go repeated the squeem with "here it goes again", noe with a little update: the band now dances in treadmills. In the first six days, there was a huge amount of uploads in Youtube and the group finally got invited to reproduce it's famous coreography in the VMA's. Results: Oh No just went up to the second spot of sells in iTunes and Ok Go are back on tour"
With this article I've discovered that the lead singer's name is NOT Damian Kulash but Daniel Kulash and that Ok Go were excited with AMW sucess and just ran to the treadmills to make a new video

I unbderstand how though this language can be...I konw, I've studied it untill highschool, but hey, at least you hae the same alphabet, for example greek doesn't have that advantage
And I've definitely made up words in both Portuguese and French before.

I mean, I really do understand if people just don't get the "Kulash" part at first but jeez, Damian is a normal name I think
