    OH MY i just fell in love with him last week! hes friends with Owen Pallet and he knows how to play the kalimba! how rad can one person be...

    he hasn't been to canada since 2005 though...but i know hes doing a Europe and American tour...

    My orchestra teacher has a kalimba laying around somewhere. It's fun to play, if you know how. I wonder how much it runs on ebay. tongue.gif

    I love the suit. He really is quite lovely isn't he? I wonder how many instruments he can play. Ukulele hehe

    When you guys started talking about kalimbas, I thought you were talking about me. My sister spent practically a whole month calling me Kalinda Kalimba.

    Jens is awesome, but I automatically love anyone that's Swedish. My friend saw him and I wanted to go but I was underage at the time.

    Ah, i just checked if tickets were available and I think I might go get them tomorrow and if I am really really lucky (which I hope) I'll get the tour poster. (In the ticket shop it's like the first who wants the poster gets it for free... sometimes they don't have all posters of all concerts (no jack penate sad.gif no adam green yet sad.gif )but I'm optimistic)

    haha, I'll do that, the club he'll be playing at is really small so I guess it won't even be hard to talk to him, I could tell him between two songs... And the concerts in over a month so plenty of time to listen to more music, but I already have quite a lot now, you can download it for free on his website.

    I just read that gigs last no more than 35 minutes... sad.gif

    I just saw him. AMAZING
    I stood perfectly front row directly in front of him, but that means I did not take that many photos, I thought it was weird, don't ask me why, I couldn't tongue.gif
    But I made two videos, pretty good ones too, but the cable thing for my camera is missing and I hope I'll find it soon.

    That man has the most amazing voice. AND I got the setlist (there was only one!) and it's handwritten and on tha back there are drum notes for a song and smaller other notes.

    Apart from the OK Go concert this might have been one of the best I've been to.

    And he's so funny! (And the other people from the band!!)

    He was late 30 minutes, but when the concert was over he came back on stage and said "It takes ages to get to the dressing room, I might as well play another song" and he did...and then another, which was probably really unplanned for him too, as he forgot the words right into the song biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

    oh no,... I forgot!!! But they were in a hurry really, it was the last gig in Europe he said and they had to catch a flight or something. (well, there IS a gig in London on the 20th, but maybe they're first off to Australia?)
    He's so funny! The way he sung Nina? He talked a lot before he actually started with the song and my sister, who didn't knew the song was laughing all the time!!

    But I guess I won't be choosing that place right infront of the stage anymore, it's so awkward and I had to take a few steps back every now and then because I was scared he might hit me with the guitar or his hands, haha.

    I think I forgot the cable for my camera at home and the battery is dead (in the middle of Shirin, but so I hope you can forgive me for not telling them to go to Canada, I got one of your favourites recorded! biggrin.gif) so I'm a bit sad right now...

    AHH if Jens hit me with his guitar or his hands I'd just hope he hits me hard enough to knock me out so he'll come and save me. tongue.gif Bingo must have been fun to watch! It's no wonder he forgot the words to that song. It's so catchy!

    yes, haha, I took a picture of them and while he sang "You are the light" I was like filming him from head to toe (which is kinda weird) and I love the way he dances while singing.
    And he didn't forget the words to Bingo but to one of the songs he sang which weren't on the setlist, I should look them up.

    (oh, I think I'll have the cable this afternoon and then I can post the videos here.)

    Ah, I'm so stupid sometimes, today, when I stood infront of cables to connect the camera with the pc I remembered that I could just plug the camera data card thingy onto my printer and ... yes, I saved some money tongue.gif
