what are some good venues in New Orleans? I only know about House of Blues and I want to be able to go to other shows in the next four years...

There's the Howling Wolf, Tipitina's, Twiropa, State Palace Theater...plus lots of bars with live music. Or you could just hang out on the corner and tip the bums with the guitars.
