OK Go on... American Idol?

I feel guilty admitting I watch it, but had to comment. On tonight's 'Worlds Worst Auditions', which was all the bad auditions from everything on Pop Idol to American Idol to New Zealand Idol, they had a small segment where they showed people coming dressed in rediculous outfits.

Background music was, of course, "You're so damn hot". Woo!

Thought it was worth a mention. tongue.gif

    My roommate was watching my response as she figured out that it was OK Go, and she said something like, "I bet you're really happy right now." And I said, "Yep. That's my boys. I'm so proud!"
    [It wasn't that I was watching Idol, exactly...it's just that the tv was still on after the OC finale (so good)]

    Awww! Yay for the boys being played on tv!

    I don't watch a lot of tv, but whenever my friends hear one of their songs being played, they always call me or IM or something...it's great.

    Apparently VH1 played Cinnamon Lips a few days ago during the credits for a show or something. Woot woot! biggrin.gif

    "Get Over It" was on some VH1 show a couple weekends ago. I think it was about celebrity feuds or something? I remember that you actually heard some of the lyrics, which seems to be rare for the background music on that kind of show, but that was because it was appropriate. "Get-get-get over it," with "it" being the feud. heh.

    Yeah it was on there, actually they play ok go a lot on vh1 shows and i believe i heard get over it on a highlight reel on either espn or fox sports net a few weeks ago. They are also in the movie Wimbeldon, they play What To Do in that movie.

    Yea, that is true... I feel like I can't turn on that damn addicting channel with out hearing get over it or don't ask me or your so damn hot in one of their celebrity life crap shows. When it does come on, its like, "hey, that's my band! I've been with them from the begining look how nice they've grown up!"
    I imagine it's like seeing your kid in a school play or something.

    They had a song on Queer Eye too, didn't they? And some music in a really shitty beach movie that I watched only because I heard Ok Go had music in it. I love them... they rule

    So Damn Hot and Don't Ask Me are used on tv shows loads in the Uk, just the music never any words. So Damn Hot was on the O.c or somethng as well, or may of been smallvile? I would like to have Lana and Summer all to myself

    And they were also on the OC.

    MTV and vh1 play Get Over It. ALL THE DAMN TIME. Not that Im complaining.

    Yeah I've heard Ok Go on the WB a few times, that channel is pretty good at showcasing new music in their shows.
