(I want OK Go to have a pet!)

edited November -1 in OK Go
Your thoughts, please...

If the boys of OK Go could take one single animal out on the road with them (besides Dan), what animal would it be? Would there be arguments among the band when choosing this animal? Who would side with whom, and who would win? Would this animal be given a name, like Jerry or Brucie or Puffy or Lars? Would the animal ever come up on stage? Who would primarily be in charge of taking care of the animal, and what would this most likely entail? Would the animal survive?

You pose some interesting questions, and a complete answer from myself would require more thought. However, I do think such an animal should have an interesting name such as Seamus or Clyde McBride. mellow.gif
  • Ok Go should tour with a female albino pygmy rattlesnake named Munchkin. Pygmy rattlers are very dangerous, so someone like Andy will have to wrangle her and keep her away from whoever is driving the bus. I think sometimes Munchkin can join the guys onstage, perhaps coiled around Damian's microphone. Maybe she can even shake her tail like a maraca in time to the music? Cinnammon Lips would be a good one for that, if the band is still playing it in shows!
  • Ferret.

A ferret is clearly the choice for a traveling band. Or maybe a hedgehog.
  • how about a chinchilla?
  • caring for a pet takes lots of time and attention and love and support
midnight feedings, riding lessons, and what about braces?
what is okgo going to do when the pet comes home at 4 in the morning
    stinking of booze?
and what if the pet needs special attention? if it has a learning disorder
    or is hyperactive?
i don't think this is a good idea.
  • I agree all the above mentioned animals are cool and would make interesting pets. cool.gif

What kind of pet did you have in mind? A child? blink.gif
In any case, you bring up some considerable issues. May I suggest a pet of low maintenance:

    Ch-Ch-Ch-Chia Pet!

  • i second the ferret idea. just get the scent glands taken out - they're really stinky otherwise.
  • A dancing Bear which will dance to A Million Ways with them. Also could provide some kind of body guard service at a reduced rate - cos its a bear and they dont know much bout money
  • lol.... someone posted hedgehog. I saw AND TOUCHED the first hedgehog i've ever seen in, well ever, in my boyfriends garden very late one night. he was really REALLY sharp and i tried to take a photo on my phone but it was too dark sad.gif but he was really cool smile.gif

i think they should get a squirrel. They're amazingly cool hehe.
  • Not meant to touch hedgehogs, they carry fleas and ticks! Jens got the lurgy! laugh.gif
  • i know, but i was drunk and it was sooooo cute. well til it got all sharp hahaha
  • it has to be ither a baby llama or a goldfish named after me! lol
