I know this isn't really a big deal or anything, but I'm subscribed to AP magazine and I got the new issue today and while looking through it.. (on page 76 if anyone else has it) there is a section that says "The Class of 2005" and it mentions a bunch of musicians and where the went to school and some have quotes about their schools on it..but the 4th one there says the following:
Damian Kulash (Vocals/Guitar) Of OK GO
Alma Maters:St. Albans High School, Washington, DC; Brown University, Providence, RI
and then on page 78 they asked: "If you had stayed in school instead of doing the band thing, what would you be doing to earn a living today?" and Damian said:
"I'd be a LEGO designer. I'd be living in Northern Europe somewhere, in a tiny apartment with hundreds of crates of LEGOs organized by color and shape, and I'd be meticulously attempting to build a functional scale model of some famous vehicle like the Queen Mary or the Wright Brothers' Kitty Hawk airplane. I might be marginalized with the LEGO community-maybe even ostracized-because of my vehement belief that LEGOs should turn away from the tacky, customized sets they now offer and return to the simple building blocks, gear sets and occasional pneumatic pumps of their '80s kits."
and there is also a tiny picture of his Highschool ID!!!!
