meeting the boys

I met the band at lollapalooza. I asked Damian if he was a Beck fan and he is. And then he introduced himself to me which was a good thing because I didn't know his name. I would have liked to talked to them longer. Musicians, espeically ones I'm not familar with, always intrigue me.

And I don't think you should stop listening so much.

    I remember when I met the boys i was in awe and soo pumped from the show that i was actually slightly nervous *which never happens*
    I really didn't know what to compliment them on first..the show as a whole...the dance...the energy level...the outfits BLAH!
    They are soo wicked cool though! w00tage

    They were in my top 10 fav bands till I saw them in concert and then met them afterwords. They made a HUGE impression on me. such nice guys.

    the guys are totally awesome super duper nice. damian gave me and my friend a cookie. and he was nice enought to talk to my friend on the phone who is a huge ok go fan, but couldn't come for family reasons(her dad's buh-day). plus they are such snazzy dressers. i envy their style lol biggrin.gif

    i met the boys whilst skiing in vermont
    damian did this really cool quadruple flip off the mountain
    into the splits, without breaking his crotch

    it was a awesome

    ME TOO!
    THe last show I saw Burleigh at, we talked for a good 45 minutes after the show. he showed me his unfinished chest piece and I almost died.

    well he said some girl gave him some girl scout cookies, she said it was for her bf but then gave it to him. *shrugs* anywhoo he offered me and my friend along w/ some other girls some cookies. it was funny, well actually weird, cause as soon as i ate some of the cookie, he said "hey those are peanut butter, so if you are allergic to peanuts you shouldn't eat them." i swallowed and then looked at him all scared, but i grinned and said nah im joking, im not allergic. biggrin.gif

    I think I am one of the "other girls" in your story, cause I got a peanut butter girl scout cookie that night, too. Best cookie I've ever had. cool.gif

    Such a great sense of humour. It's totally something I would say.

    I am slightly depressed because....sigh.......i have never met the band or been to a concert.theres like never any by me.boy...if there was...id be freakin out right now with my friends.lol.*tear*

    I met them at lollapalooza. I am quite shy, so when I first got to Damian, I just smiled. He was outgoing though. He was like "hello, how are you?" *puts hand out for handshake* "thanks for coming to see us so early." I was just like..."thanks...you guys were really good out there. Nice dance moves." one of them respsonded with, yeah I know. Then since the line was getting long and they had to go when I asked for a picture they were like no, sorry, but you can over there and take a picture. It hurt a little, but Rusty and Tim looked over my way and smiled (actually only Rusty smiled, Tim kinda just had a blank stare).
