Any news on a new tour?

I'm guessing they'll be on tour again around the time of the new cd. Do we have any official dates yet or estimates?

    That's pretty much exactly what I do tell my employer when I get off for shows... they know I'm going to see OK Go, and my boss wants to know all about it when I get back, see the pictures, everything!

    New tour announcement coming soon. The west and southwest will be happy; we're working on the rest of the country. Europe & the UK will be unhappy for a short while, but if the stars align, we'll have a little love, or an alternative to it, at least, quite soon. Of course, the stars have been messing with me all damn day, so don't hold all of your breath.

    Clear Channel sent me an e-mail about the OK Go show in Phoenix on the 10th of September. Tickets go on sale Saturday, July 30th. But the venue the show's at is an armpit. OK Go deserves better.

    Though we won't love the drive (we just drove back from Sky Harbor airport last night actually), the hub unit and I will absolutely be at the show, rain or shine. Preferably shine... it is monsoon season. huh.gif

    just know that theyre touring with an AWESOME band. and theyre not coming to tucson. but its true, all the westerners and southwesterners will be happy [except for me...]

    Just purchased tickets for the Tempe show through Ticketmaster, and here's my breakdown of cost:

    ADULT Tickets US $10.00 x 2
    Total Convenience Charge(s) US $3.40 x 2
    Order Processing Charge US $4.35
    TOTAL CHARGES US $31.15

    Absolutely absurd. Over thirty dollars total for twenty dollars worth of tickets. I hope OK Go plays a while. I'm already iffy about the venue. sad.gif But we'll probably make a day of it, since the show's on a Saturday on Phoenix. There'll be enough to do and see before the show.

    My advice would be to purchase tickets for the upcoming shows through an entity other than Ticketmaster. Big duh, I know, but it bears repeating. Had we been able to go out here in town and buy the tickets from a local music store or something, that would have been much more cool.
