  • i didnt think it was that great! the storyline at least.
my friends and i are probably the only ones who think so... but i don't know. the storyline/writing was kinda disappointing.
    but
the claymation and music and cinematography was spectacular.
  • Yeah, I saw it tonight. I hate to say this, because I'm a hufe Tim Burton and Johnny Depp fan, but I didn't think the movie was as great as everyone hoped it would be. I have some friends who saw an advanced screening, and they were talking it up like crazy. The storyline was a real let down. It's good, don't get me wrong, but it's not nearly one of my faves.
  • i was disappointed as well...
  • the storyline isn't really the point...
    it's lovely, and that's why it's awesome.
nightmare before christmas had no storyline, almost!! at least this was comprehensible.
i heart tim burton and i loved this movie.
my only complaint is that i didn't like the music as much as in the nightmare before christmas.
  • The storyline is a integral part to any story. Without that, you've got nothing besides a bunch of characters walking around.
  • a bunch of well-made characters walking around and being awesome is good enough for me.
  • hehe exactly. i loved the movie. it was pure awesomeness on a screen. i dont care what you guys think.. lol jk. i love you all.
  • I haven't seen it yet, but I love The Nightmare Before Christmas. I need to watch that agin soon.
  • .... ive never seen nightmare before christmas

  • I really want to see the movie. Haven't seen it yet sad.gif

  • WOW... you should see Nightmare Before Christmas... it's one of my faves... and like some of you said.. I expected more from this movie.. I still loved it though.
  • I saw this film yesterday and I must say I adored it, I HEART'd the music! It was so lovely! and awww I really wanted emily and victor to get together =(

I have the nightmare before christmas and have seen it too many a time, let me count.... this year i've seen it 96 times... I love it

    I luff Nightmare before christmas
    I luff Corpse Bride
    I luff stop-motion animation
  • i always wanted to see a nightmare before christmas... but i sadly never have...
  • Good Lord, How? I'm so sorry. You should ask for it for christmachanukkwansaka. Normally, I think it's really selfish to ask for presents, but this is the Nightmare Before Christmas. I grew up on that movie. It was a very important part of my childhood. Watch it.
  • Ive seen james and the giant peach....
  • though james and the giant peach is brilliant, it's nowhere near as good as Nightmare, seeing that it's not by tim burton i believe

Corpse Bride and Nightmare Before Christmas have the best soundtracks ever
  • as i said roughly two hours ago, corpse bride and nightmare before christmas have the best soundtracks..... EVARRRRRRR

you need to go and buy them before you die
  • i dont want to... It will mean that I will be ready to die as you just pointed out... jks.. will do some time in the future... or might not.. laugh.gif
  • Watch the Nightmare Before Christmas, please? For me? I'll be your best friend? (Remember when that worked?) biggrin.gif
