hm...i don't think i have a favorite old band, unless you count the smashing pumpkins, but they're not really an old band.
unfortunately, i don't really listen to old music and there is always so much new...

With fear of being made fun of, I must say my favorite old singer is Garth Brooks. He's not that old... but he's retired. I love his music. I also love Billy Joel, OH and CCR... they rock and I too like the beach boys, I have even seen them in concert

Just cause I like country? It is what I grew up listening to... and I know a lot of people who don't like country music but still like Garth Brooks...

Yea, they were giving it away on their new tour too.

It has a lot of songs aimed for the younger generation though(our generation) so it's a bit different. But still, far better than most music out there.
