thatd be brilliant.
I still say more Violent Femmes covers and Kinks.
And Ballroom Blitz. That song can kick any one's ass.
"(I'm Not Your) Steppin' Stone"-The Monkees
"911 is a Joke"-Public Enemy
"Rock Lobster"-The B-52's
"Exhuming McCarthy"-REM
"I Put a Spell on You"-Screamin' Jay Hawkins
But MOST of all- "Gloria"-Them
They wouldn't even have to make a habit of them...just once...for me *bats eyelashes*
If OK Go covered a Daft Punk song, like Around the World

leonard cohen did the original hallelujah... absolutely terrible, but a brilliant song
and i think any one of those pixies songs would be amazing
Pudge - Story of My Life
Haha, that would be awesome. Because Johnny Cash is awesome.
AND I'M SEEING WALK THE LINE! WOO!
I've been waiting for this movie to come out since forever ago.
isnt that song by shel silverstein?
Last time we did this topic someone suggested "Once in a Lifetime" by the Talking Heads, which I think is a great call.
My vote is for something by Blondie...maybe "Call Me" or "Dreaming." And then "Reflections" by the Supremes.
In the category of random, but would be fun at a show (and what are covers for): "Only the Good Die Young" by Billy Joel.
And finally, not something I actually want to hear them cover, but it occured to me and I thought I'd share: "Tim, I Wish You Were Born a Girl" by Of Montreal.
are you sayong that sarcastically? I can't tell the difference anymore
I didn't see this one the first time I read this thread. That'd be absolutely fantastic.
I think I read that they used to cover an early Beatles song...anyone who went to shows a few years ago remember which?
no.
...and thank you
