Mmm, I'm think HEB is the shit, but whatevs.

I used to work at HEB. My first summer after college. I still have my "A Texas Tradition: Go Home A Hero" shirt. I wear it up here sometimes to piss of the midwesterners.

That's way cool about the Fiesta/ticketmaster thing. Good for them.

Karleigh, where's this Fiesta in downtown Austin that you speak of?

Yeah, but it was the summer and most of my friends were in Austin and I was home in San Antonio so it was ok. I closed a lot of nights, which stunk.
And working at a grocery store on July 4th is one of the worst things EVER! Every customer is buying stuff for barbeques and you're stuck WORKING!

ugh that sucks!! you're home town is s.a. i have like bunch of family over there. yah i hated working new year ever at the car dealership. like no one was going to buy a car but we had to stay there just in case anyone would. blah.
  • I just came back from San Antonio like 1/2hr ago and there's a fiesta going on..boy was it crowded..there were some people dress up pretty weird...I didn't see it all though because I was there for a tennis tournanment.

Oh and about tickets is there any chance of actually getting tickets day of..because they always say at the door..but what if it's sold out? I have no idea how to buy tickets.

If it's sold out, they won't be sold at the door. Both Dallas and Houston shows in June are sold out, and I'm pretty upset.
  • Sounds like the lads are very popular in Texas.

No, Panic! is....and I hate them all.....
  • so the june show's already sold out? oh well. i'm not too keen on panic! and warehouse live isn't my favorite venue. it's kind of like the concert hall equivalent of t.g.i.fridays. it tries way too hard to be "authentic."

buuut...i'm really looking forward to the one next week since ok go is FINALLY the main act. at the last show i had to put up with a bunch of motion city soundtrack fans and my view was obscured by all their white boy afros.
  • Hhaahah, but I wonder how SWR fans will be.

ugh never again will i go to another mcs show. i mean they were great and all but the fans are annoying i really wanted to trip one girl.

btw i really don't even like panic! i couldn't even listen to one whole song. i think i will just watch ok go and then talk to the guys and leave.

sadly i have been very disappointed with all the new music/new bands coming out. i've just listening to spoon, the lips, elo, the cars, ok go and tally hall. awww speaking of spoon i'm going to listen to some right now.
  • gee i was at that mcs show in houston! i thought i could at least put up with mcs for one night...and i thought wrong.

ugh i was just saying to myself to you are going to see ok go. so don't go on killing spree. lol. haha some girl scared me and rusty cause i was giving rusty his tie and talking to him and some girl screamed real loud "MMMMOOOOVVVEEE" cause a few people were blocking the door. andy was like ok i will.
  • Gah, those MCS shows sucked. All those stupid moshers and 14 year old boys with really tight jeans on. Grr. I hated how they were asking the boys to sign toilet paper and stuff, they didn't even know who they were. I'm hoping the SWR will be mellow, but I know Panic! won't be. Gah, I hated Panic! 3 years ago when my friend played them for me. Screw this, OK Go should be headlining. BTW, Denise, have you gotten tickets for June yet? The Houston show is sold out now.
