but yes, OK Go was SO FUCKING GOOD. so so so good. and the ELO cover was great, though i was hoping for the Violent Femmes one.

my digital pictures are pretty mediocre since i mainly took polaroids that night. but the flash on my polaroid camera was freakishly bright and made everyone look washed out. if you want to see my polaroids (which are mainly of damian) go to my blog: here. (also, there's a picture of blues clues steve and the lashes lead singer's safety pinned crotch.)
i was right in the front, and if i looked up, i could see directly into damian's noseholes. i was kind of miffed they didn't play "it's a disaster," but they played "bye bye baby" and so many other lovely songs, which explains why i don't have a plethora of pictures since i was too busy being ecstatic. it was a loud, hilarious show and as my 5th ok go show, it was by far the best. i think damian spat on me a grand total of 40+ times (i never realized how spitty "invincible" was...) also, i love how the boys keep smiling at each other between songs. it made me happy in a kind of brokeback way.
afterwards, i only got to talk to damian since my friend was being extremely menopausal that night. at the risk of being redundant, damian is dreamy. and literate. he heartily recommends this book, along with catch-22:
