Ok Go Merchandise

I read on their MySpace page that someone got a poster of the boys! That got me excited but I have no idea where I could buy one. Does anyone know? I just happen to have some blank wall in my room and I'd love to get a poster of them to fill up that space ;-). I know there's clothing merchandise that you can buy on okgo.net, but no posters..I never even knew posters of them..like actual posters, existed. I checked a couple of stores today (bad idea considering it's Boxing Day) but had no luck. I went home happy though, I finally bought the Oh No CD/DVD and loved watching all the videos and footage (can never get enough of their dancing!). If anyone could help me out, that would be great.

    The store doesn't have any posters, but other super duper merch.

    For posters, try ebay. I've seen a few of their posters being sold there.

    Also, this one is really neat. I want it.

    Yeah I've had a hard time finding good OK Go posters. All the ones I find are really small or have Andy Duncan in them instead of Rusty. I hope they come out with a good one and sell it on their site sometime...that would be nice. I have a blank spot on the wall in my room that I'm saving just for OK Go! It needs to be filled!

    Ebay, like mentioned before, is very nice. I just got a good poster of them all for pretty cheap a few days ago. There weren't too many on there the other day, but I'm sure it'll pick up soon

    I've had real problems finding OK Go merch. I only have a debit card, so I can't order stuff from US shops, only UK ones. I've only found one t-shirt online that I could buy. But it vanished before I got paid, so I couldn't buy it. dry.gif
    Guess I'll have to buy stuff at tours

    You know what is really cool? Making your OWN poster. smile.gif Print off a ton of pictures and make a collage of sorts. Or, if you have a little extra cash, get a picture you really like and take it to Kinko's. I did (though not an OK Go one, yet) and it was relatively cheap for a black and white 24". They'll make you a really nice poster and you could always take it to be signed. The band would probably wonder where in the hell you got such an awesome poster that they don't remember making. laugh.gif

    I get most of my posters off of ebay. I actually have quite a few, becauese I have no sense of self control when it comes to ebay or OK Go, so the two together make it absolutely impossible for me to keep any sort of money saved up.

    I also like to buy as much as I can off of the website, because that way I know the money I spend on there goes to the guys, as the money I spend on ebay does not.

    All of my OK Go posters were free and delivered to me, so I have no idea how to buy OK Go posters.

    I like buying tons of merch from the shows or the store. Anything to support the guys. I even turned down free merch one time because I thought I should pay for it. I think that's the mark of a true fan. That or I'm stupid.

    I like the idea of making my own poster. I actually took a picture to be blown up at Kinko's a while back..it was black and white though and maybe this time I'll try it in colour. I took a couple pictures to develop and put in a frame the other day but they're pretty small (those 4x6 photos..cute pictures though!) so I only mainly have them in my room for decoration on my desk and stuff. I just gotta find the right picture to turn into a poster..not that there aren't any good ones, there's too many and it'll be impossible for me to choose one. I'll probably end up making more than one, but that's besides the point. Thanks for your help everyone!

    Oh, making your own poster is a good idea. I did that with a Franz Ferdinand ad in one of my music magazines. I cut the ad out and scanned it, then printed it out into four parts, so the original photo would be a whole lot bigger. But I printed it in B&W. After that, I pasted the four pages to poster board and I took paints and fixed it up so it kind of looks like pop art. This is the ad I took it from, I don't have a photo of the actual poster I made.

    the color parts I painted. Except the one I have has the fall tour dates from 2005 at the bottom. Otherwise, it's really neat looking. Sometime I'm going to get it laminated.

    Or you can go to Kinko's smile.gif I would have done that but I've never seen a Kinko's anywhere.
