    I completely forgot that everyone else in the crowd probably hasn't seen them 8 times and probably doesn't have the set list (practically) memorised and probably wasn't expecting him to come out into the crowd, haha.


    Same here haha! laugh.gif When he put his guitar down, I tought to myself: "Oh crap, he's coming down! TIME TO WATCH OUT!" Yet I still got crushed in the pit LOL It was pretty awesome though rolleyes.gif

    I think that's the....3rd time? Damian's come down within my vicinity. Yeah, 3rd. It's pretty awesome, haha. It's so much better being in front at an OK Go show. tongue.gif

    Also, I'm assuming you live in Paris? (Seeing as that's what says under your username. smile.gif)

    It is indeed! I was pretty much after the middle of the pit @ the Batofar show and went: "What the... blink.gif " when he came down in the pit. I remember him mentioning people grabbed his ass a lot HAHA laugh.gif

    Haha, I remember him saying that! I was all the way stage Tim for that show, though. Also, I was the one who was screaming "DO IT DO IT!" when he mentioned "Les Miz," and was then promptly told to shut up.

    Speaking of living in Paris, the Batofar is about fifteen minutes from where I live, haha. It's so nice just to be able to walk to a venue.

    The show was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Me and my friend got a front spot right in front of Damian. He told us again about his love for the word "Pamplemousse" and had us pick which cover we wanted to hear (someone yelled "Pamplemousse!!" but Damian said he didnt know the words to the song haha).

    He came down in the pit during ELO and caused quite a commotion. The same thing happened when they did the Violent Femmes cover and Damian hoped on the bar and came back to the stage via the pit.

    The acoustic set from the middle of the pit was INCREDIBLE. "A million ways" acoustic sounds SO good! It would be awesome if they recorded it. A couple guys jumped on stage and danced with the guys during the last song. I got a rad looking shirt and got autographs and pics with each one of the guys. They were absolutely adorable and they were so stoked that the show was sold out and that the crowd was really into them smile.gif

    Woah! Thanks for sharing, sounds like you had tons of fun! I saw your YouTube videos, and the one where he jumps into the crowd is amazing! Gotta love Damian's energy.
    Got any more pictures you'd like to share?

    Haha yeah, as soon as Damian put down the guitar to do the cover and go the microphone with a really long lead, I knew he'd come into the crowd... everyone else looked so surprised when he came down, so I used this state of confusion to get into pole position and grab that leg of his...

    And then he held my hand smile.gif
