I want to come. I need to figure out how I can do this, though.
  • cleveland! i was born there... and lived there for one month and then we moved to ca... haha oh wellz good for cleveland cuz nothing happens there usually... and oh man my dad used to work at case western univ... okay this is all totally unrelated.. sorry..
carry on! (tim gunn from project runway voice haha)
  • Cool! Good luck with this, Jennifer, Darbie, Suzanne!!

Two days after Urbana! I'll think of you guys fondly in my own post-show glow.
  • I just realized what a short drive it is from DC to Cleveland. Six hours, that's nothing. And on a Saturday, too.

No. I have to stop this and GET A LIFE instead of traveling all over the country to see this (incredible) band.

But I hope that those of you who go have a really great time!
  • I know, azulaco! Cleveland is only 3+ hours from me, but I'm seeing them two days later on April 30 at Mich. State Univ. so I can't justify it. I really can't. Right? blink.gif

Sure you can! That's just a day trip. However, if you're unable to go, you can think about how awesome your show on the 30th will be. Headlining! Sixth row! Will you be bringing a pot roast?

It is a damned good thing I wasn't consuming any liquid upon reading that post, otherwise the computer would've been COVERED in it.

    Pot Roast! I LOVE it.

Hee. That's exactly what I was thinking. dietpepsidrunk, you need to go and you need to take the pot roast. You can totally justify it. Please, it's a Saturday. You probably have the time, and it's a free show. Why not?
  • dietpepsi, will you come if I go?

Just your usual, run of the mill college article about OK Go performing at Springfest at the end of this month. Nothing new revealed.
  • I'm going, and I asked some questions of one of the organizers by email. Here's her reply, in case it's helpful to anyone else:

To answer your questions, yes the event is open to non-students. Admission is free, but you will have to pay between $5 to $8 if you are planning on buying a meal at the event. The event starts at 12:30 and will probably end around 7pm. We have bands starting at 2, 3, and 4, and Ok Go is scheduled to perform at 5:30. Some of the streets around the field will be blocked off, but you should be able to park on some of the side streets.

If you're going, let me know!
