will do...
I want to come. I need to figure out how I can do this, though.
carry on! (tim gunn from project runway voice haha)
Two days after Urbana! I'll think of you guys fondly in my own post-show glow.
No. I have to stop this and GET A LIFE instead of traveling all over the country to see this (incredible) band.
But I hope that those of you who go have a really great time!
Sure you can! That's just a day trip. However, if you're unable to go, you can think about how awesome your show on the 30th will be. Headlining! Sixth row! Will you be bringing a pot roast?
I just might!!
It is a damned good thing I wasn't consuming any liquid upon reading that post, otherwise the computer would've been COVERED in it.
Pot Roast! I LOVE it.
Pot Roast! I LOVE it.
I aims to please.
shit. i might be gone that weekend though. why is life so unfair?
Hee. That's exactly what I was thinking. dietpepsidrunk, you need to go and you need to take the pot roast. You can totally justify it. Please, it's a Saturday. You probably have the time, and it's a free show. Why not?
We'll talk about it!
Just your usual, run of the mill college article about OK Go performing at Springfest at the end of this month. Nothing new revealed.
To answer your questions, yes the event is open to non-students. Admission is free, but you will have to pay between $5 to $8 if you are planning on buying a meal at the event. The event starts at 12:30 and will probably end around 7pm. We have bands starting at 2, 3, and 4, and Ok Go is scheduled to perform at 5:30. Some of the streets around the field will be blocked off, but you should be able to park on some of the side streets.
If you're going, let me know!
