My movie at the movies?

edited November -1 in General Discussion
Quite a while ago, September 17th 2006, in fact, I made this thread about a short film I had made with my friend Paul.

Just to read a bit of the thread you will see that Paul was 15 and I was 14 at the time the film was made.

Now Paul is 16 and I am 15, but that isn't the point of this thread, the point of this thread is to inform you that I am further on my way to becoming a film maker, with this news.

About a month ago I entered Forward To The Past into the Boroondara Youth Short Film Festival, which is held every year and the films that are good enough get shown at a film cinema. Well, I got a phone call the other day and got told that MY film is going to be played at the pictures next wednesday! I'm sure none of you will find this news even half as exciting as I do, but I felt that this needed to be said!

There is a copy of the film on youtube, which you can watch here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hCSMNfrtPcY

And for Andy: STRUTH!

  • That's awesome, congratulations! biggrin.gif I'm somewhat of a film maker myself (though not really as I haven't actually made anything more than stupid music videos so far, but I'm still learning), so I can definitely appreciate how excited you must be. I hope everyone likes it!
