I'm probably in for the IL and MI shows, maybe even the OH ones.

    CINCINNATI!!!!!!

    I might need to explain that Newport, KY, is Cincinnati, for our purposes. I've been trying to get them to come back - this will I think be only the second time OK Go has played in Cincinnati, the first being the Fountain Square show that I was part of.

    Southgate House is absolutely the right venue in this area for them to play. I'm SO HAPPY about this!

    I really hope some of you can come! You'll love Southgate House, and I would love to see you. I'm already imagining this as the best party ever - all my friends, Southgate House, and OK Go. I've already decided to make this my birthday party (it's not till the next week, but that's close enough).

    I'm definitely in for Columbus, too, maybe more. I want Cincinnati to be special, though.

    Guys, can you believe they're TOURING AGAIN? We'll get to see them, and soon!

    Yay! I'm pretty sure I stayed in Newport when I visited in August.

    I'm really hoping I can make it for the Cinci/Newport show. The OH ones are out because I can't feasibly take a week and a half off of work. Which really, really sucks. But also good for me because I don't think I could afford that many hotel rooms.

    Ya know, it's a really good thing the price of gas has gone down. Now, watch, the price is gonna skyrocket just before this trip.

    Have fun guys! I think I'm going to e-mail their booking agents and say "Come to the southeast!" It worked with The Wallflowers this summer. Both shows I suggested sold out smile.gif

    MyFavoritePerson, could you PM me with who I should e-mail to get them to come to Jackson, MS? Together, you and I can spread Ok Go joy throught the Southeast. wink.gif

    Ahhhhh!!! I'm so upset, cuz a lot of these shows are within reasonable distance!! But I don't know if I can go because of stupid school! I might be able to make it to at least one, though, I hope. sad.gif

    i'll be at the ones in mi, of course.

    blind pig is one of my FAVORITE venues of all time... seen many of my faves there... i saw matt nathanson there when i was 18 and it was magical.
    the intersection is pretty cool too. much bigger. ann arbor and grand rapids are both great cities. well. for michigan.

    wish i could go to urbana! i used to go there lots my freshman year of college... *nostalgia*

    There are two shows scheduled at The Intersection that night and I think that they're playing the front lounge. That's not big at all. I've never seen a real show there, just an acoustic radio show. Is anyone familiar with shows played in the lounge?

    Here are my pictures from Southgate House on 11/8 and The Intersection on 11/10. I didn't take pictures at The Canopy Club, so of course it had the best lighting of the three. We had tons of fun and after I get my blogs written, I'll try to post excerpts.

    So, I only managed to go to 3 shows instead of the 5 I planned on. One was due to car FAIL and the other due to overbookedness.
