did anyone notice that those 2 drum intros sound nearly the same? Are OK Go big nirvana fans or is it just a coincidence? :)

It's a little bit different and significantly downtempo, but yeah they're pretty similar.
Sort of hard to do a drum riff that doesn't sound like any other song ever written. There are only so many combinations of things you can bang on.
These are both my two favourite bands.And yes, I noticed that right away, and I FLIPPING love it.There's a slight difference in the beats, but not much.It's amazing how much the melodies make a difference; they are entirely different songs except for the beat.Awesome beat.
