OK Go's Tim Nordwind Performing Live 6/7 at the LA Improv Comedy Festival!

edited November -1 in OK Go
Tim Nordwind of OK Go will perform with the Armando on Monday, June 7th at 8 pm at the iO West! Tickets are just $20!

The Armando Show begins with one suggestion from the audience, which is then interpreted by that night's Armando (the inimitable Tim Nordwind) through a personal and truthful improvised monologue. Inspired by that monologue, a cast composed of veteran Chicago and Los Angeles alumni perform scenes which, in turn, inspire a response from Armando. This propels hilarious interchanges between Armando's monologues and the company's scenes.

  • Welcome dramaguy! :)

Haha, I actually came on here to post this :P

This sounds so epic, if anyone can go...that would be double epicness.

I'm pretty sure Tim will knock the crowd out with his charm and awesomeness :D

  • Caught the show-very funny!  Tim had some hilarious personal stores and anecdotes.  Never saw improv before and would have loved to talk to Tim after show.  Met one of the other actors/comics(??) and he filled us in.  Thank you Miles!  Will I ever get to meet you Tim??  Love ok go and will try and catch you around L.A.  Thanks for the fun evening.
  • Welcome to the boards mary :)

    Tim is awesome.

I would love to heard more from the evening if you would care to share with the rest of the OK Go community :D

  • Sorry for the delay, I suck at this posting stuff.  I had to start a new facebook acct because I could't remember my password!!

    Anyway-

Tim was hilarious.  The other actors would start a skit, then Tim would say "stop, stop" and run in and interject a story.  He talked about Lifesavers, his dog eating a poolball, his Mom's earings and traveling.  Normal everyday stuff, but he's really funny with his delivery.   When he finished, he'd run off stage and the skit would continue.  It was weird, but very entertaining.  He's very charming and engaging onstage, like he's just hanging around talking to friends telling stories about his life.  Very cool.
