I listened to it--I got lucky and read the News update about 30 min before their segment aired here. It was mostly part of the podcast, but they played clips from the new album (DWYW, Oh No, and Good Idea (I think)) before and after. Good stuff.
Yeah, I saw that, too!
My roommate was watching my response as she figured out that it was OK Go, and she said something like, "I bet you're really happy right now." And I said, "Yep. That's my boys. I'm so proud!"
[It wasn't that I was watching Ido…
here's a possibility for "Do What You Want":
shock and awe and amaze me
just a ticker-tape parading me
you know, like those parades back in the day with lots of confetti for when Lindberg flew across the atlantic or something...
When you actually go to buy tickets, it's through Ticketmaster. They add on a $5.25 service charge per ticket, plus another order processing fee, so the two tickets I bought ended up being $45.72. I HATE TICKETMASTER!
But my love of OK Go is stronge…
Yeah, that totally makes sense (different shirt for when you're talking to each guy). It's just that when you mentioned tearing the shirts, I had a flashback to the picture of the Madison girl with the torn "Get Over It' shirt (somewhere in the Madi…
Okay, Pam, Carin, I have to ask:
You mentioned "going from guy to guy" and tearing off the shirts. Are you ladies going to break the new band resolution (drafted after the Madison show) and use the members of OK Go as stripper poles, like the scary …
Hey, Sally, you're welcome. There's no way I would have had the guts to ask DK about the nude pic on my own, but since you'd mentioned it in your New Orleans story, I figured he wasn't being facetious and I wanted to know what it was for and where w…

Well, I hope Tim is a big fan of canned fish products, because I bro…
Oh, yeah, one more thing... I think that there's a glitch in the tour schedule that someone posted today. I don't think they're playing two shows in Chicago. I was looking at the Kaiser Chief's website earlier, and it has them playing at the House o…
Idiotjed, you are my hero. It's been almost six weeks since I've heard "No Signs of Life". Thank you thank you thank you! You've made the wait until July a little shorter.
As for posting more songs. I was digging around the message board a little …
QUOTE (sweetpea0431 @ Apr 5 2005, 09:27 PM)Ahhh, the infamous Open End Gallery show in Chicago. I was at that one too! I still think that make out thing was hilarious, they had to have been so embarrassed...
Yeah, I'm sure that was really embarrass…
QUOTE (bettyNLBboop @ Apr 4 2005, 12:04 PM)That would be so amazing if they did either, or both of those. I think I would be in heaven And it would be such great publicity for them *sigh*
I agree. I'm excited about both Lollapalooza and Intonation…
1. Is OKGO one of those bands that sounds just as good in person as they do on their CD? For instance, The White Stripes sound just as good in person; Jimmy Eat World does not.
OK Go is definitely one of those bands that sounds ridiculously awesome…
otherSara, I'm so jealous that you got to see OK Go last night AND you're going to see them again tonight. A few weeks ago I got to see them twice in Chicago then twice in Texas = four shows in eight days. It was fanfreakintastic, but now I'm suffer…
