Yeah, same here...minus the birthday gift part --though that's not a bad idea to ask for for my birthday. --Anyways, the 16th couldn't come soon enough...I'm very anxious to buy my tickets.

Normally college shows offer the tickets to the students first and for a discounted price, but they will (if there are tickets left) go on sale to the general public ..at least that's how my school works.

Definitely go to the gig. Jazz performances come and go, but this is a rare opportunity ..unless the jazz performance is super important. And then forget about the show.
