I just posted this as a comment over at the blogfight thingy, but where in Mass. are you? I'm at Smith, and I'm always eager to find more MA fans- I feel like there aren't enough of us around!
I have lived in Wakefield for my whole entire life, Wakefield High has a really good music program but its slowly going downhill...

she's a flute like me!
Heck yes! flutes do rock. And we're proof of that. i play flute and picollo and I used to play cello. but flutes still win, no matter what.

Hell yeah! I remember the days back in high school, when the flute section was hella tight. We were the only all-female section back then, and we'd have crazy flute sleepovers involving movies, Pixie Stix, and staying up 'til 4 am.
I should really start a list of all the MA OK Go fans I know, because I'm slowly starting to find more and more and it's nice to know that I'm not the only one out here! Last year (as in last school year...), I didn't know ANYBODY who liked them, so I felt kind of lonely when I didn' t really know anybody at the Northampton show.
This thread has taken an interesting turn of conversation. I like the fact that we don't get thwapped by Mr. Mr. Jorge, Whom I Adore, Whom I Adore for being off-topic, unlike at Fiction Alley Park...
We had this fruit snack that was really gross and over a year old, but then Jonny threw it onto the roof.
and... Andrew took a banana and put in in a bag and threw it against the wall until it was beaten into a pulp and then it exploded and looked like throw-up everywhere, and everyone was majorly grossed out.
yeah, the kids I hang out w/ at band camp are very guy-ish and they like to gross people out. Its pretty fun, but thats only during lunches at camp. normally I don't really hang out with them.
I can play a little piano too. I can play more than hot cross buns though. I can play Mary had a little lamb, some Christmas songs and Let It Be. That's kind of random.
I can play the clarinet, too. but I haven't played it in a while because I quit band.
And I can play the guitar a bit, but I'm still learning.
Haha, it would be funny if he did, but I don't see anthing wrong with it.
If he can talk about language and grammar while being drunk, he's a pretty smart drunk.
I dunno' if he gets drunk too often, but it definitely seems like a lot of amusing things happen when he does. The first time I saw them, Damian was definitely a bit tipsy after the show and let Kat take a pic of his ass, which was so great.
And then there's this, and that great story of him and Mr. Mr. Jorge, Whom I Adore, Whom I Adore being so drunk that they wandered into a NYC apartment building at 3 am and banged on some lady's door. That has to be one of the best drunk stories I've ever heard.

so far
i can play: piano, violin, flute, bassoon, all mallet instruments, very very very little drumset. and yeah. thats it.
i can kinda play piano
like twinkle twinkle
and hot cross buns
so ima gonna count that as an instrument i can play.
and baritone horn/tuba
i learned from my brother...
and yes, the fact that Mr. Mr. Jorge, Whom I Adore, Whom I Adore doesnt go on a power trip and yell at us for off-topic-ness is very refreshing.
Oh, that's not even funny anymore.
sure it is! i know i laughed
