UHAUL Trucks
So I recently started my 3rd (ugh) job, working at UHAUL and I just realized that "hey, uhaul is all about trucks and theres a trucks forum!"
Anyways. UHAUL trucks blow. 80% of them are from 1989. They spew smog out the exhaust like a coal burning plant. They are dirty dirty dirty (despite all the long hours I put in trying to clean them). They break down all the time. They all have 100k-300k miles on them. 50% of them are not cleaned out between customers (at least on local rentals). The radios are all missing knobs. The washer fluid pumps never work. Did I mention they were REALLY dirty? They all look like they rolled off a cliff.
That said... its a great job. I found $50 in a truck the other day as well as a Blackberry Mobile phone (1 of many cell phones ive found)... finders keepers at UHAUL!
Anyways, In the 2 months ive been there Ive done my best to turn the whole company around and make things safe and clean, but it dosent seem to be working. So if you cant beat'um... join up. (spits on truck)
