my friend has natural curls like that

there's another posted song somewhere. if i find the link ill post it. but it's "island of the honest man"
    both are sososososoooo brilliant.

I've just heard this song on their website. It's OK, nowhere near as catchy as Goodnight Goodnight though. Steve's new hairdo is cool cool.gif .
  • Ok, so I'm almost ashamed to admit this, but I haven't ever heard anything by Hot Hot Heat, so I went to their website to check them out..

What songs would you suggest for me to download/buy off I-tunes, being a first time listener? Like, what song is the best to get me interested?

They're kind of like Franz Ferdinand and The Killers.
  • "talk to me, dance with me" and "no, not now" are personally my two favorites... and "le le low"...

i was hoping for more of their new album to sound like that. which i know wouldn't be new, but that was damn good stuff.
  • I ended up buying those too! Thanks!
  • "They're kind of like Franz Ferdinand and The Killers."

i shall go see them then!

    thanks =)
  • This is very last minute, but they are apparently going to be playing on Conan O'Brien tonight...
  • bought the album today! totally awesome, i've been listening to it all day long! laugh.gif
  • oh poop....its 18+ only in notts...meaning i can go...but none of my mates can...damn my oldness
  • Never mind, you could buy their debut album "Make Up The Breakdown". It's been out for 2 years now but it's still in most record shops.
  • that sounds a good plan there Mr ok matt...

either that or i sumhow bribe nottingham into letting my friends into the gig..
  • Or your friends could all produce fake IDs- I don't know how people go about doing that though mellow.gif
The cd is really good- especially the songs "No, Not Now", and "Oh Goddammit".
