I really liked the description of how the Swedish crowds cheer in unison at soccer games:

"your team is very bad"
"we know you just want to sleep with us"
"we don't want to sleep with you, your team is not good enough for that"



Or maybe Tim knowing how to say "I must have you tonight" in swedish

Woo, I have to admit that it is a little extra work to do a show like that and keep up with the playlisting and phone calls by myself, but I'm glad you all enjoyed the interview and some of the music choices. The odd thing was that I kept getting phone calls and they weren't even for my show...except for the request for Bloc Party from our own "Mrs. Robinson."

My bad, I totally meant to give shout-outs, but you all know the show was especially for you. And Darbie, you know I played Kill Hannah for you.

Amazing that you guys could type quotes from the interview! Maybe next time someone can type the whole script out, haha!

...Should there be a next time? Did everyone hear it all that wanted to...besides setsumi?

I was actually telling Carin about this! I typed out just general of what they talked about, I wish I could type as fast as those courtroom reporters can.. it's just too much for me to type! But I did get the jist of it down.

If you could copy and paste whatever you got, I'm sure setsumi would appreciate being able to read some of the quotes. That way she won't feel left out. Afterall some of the questions were hers. See, I have to look out for her.

I don't know how much good this would do, it's really choppy and probably only makes sense to the people who heard it, but here's what I have:

(keep in mind, a lot of these things were said sarcastically) Ignore the absence of capitalization and any spelling errors, I typed this up as I was listening...

guitar that andy plays is a kalamazoo sunburst guitar les paul
tim and damian met in michigan, traver city
damian 12 years old, tim was 11

on stage, where are your minds?
depends on show
Damian--between autopilot and the crowd
if think about 1 person in the crowd, you get self-concious
people dancing in front of them, puts them in awkward position, must avert eyes
damian thinks about pinball (but not a particularly good player)

nashville--terrible crowd, but they played really good

best show:
town hall in new york city; most ecstatic
(were house band for "This American Life")
did choreographed boyband dance, roses thrown from rafters
tim almost quit the band; dream come true

damian dreams about bad shows all the time (dream: 45 min into the set, hadn't yet tuned his guitar)
damian almost electrocuted at a show by his microphone
-got really shocked in cleveland; but also an awesome show (with the power of his face)
