    i just got the mag (which happens to have hot hot heat in it, too! way cool) man after reading about the whole thing with rivers, i kinda feel sorry for him. and i was pretty amazed they spoke about mikey welsh and matt sharp. i think it was a great article, especially the theme of weezer pressure trying to make an album to match that of the first two 2 cds. i liked the interview.

    i may get yelled at for this, but i think weezer should stop taking forever on new music and just tour and play stuff from the blue album and pinkerton before they make a grand funk railroad out of themselves.

    they should do a blue, pink, b-sides, songs from the black hole, etc tour

    i was hoping maybe theyd play older stuff during this tour since its a club tour and the people going are probably their biggest fans, but i doubt it. theyre probably going to play the entire new album or something. meh.

    yeah, bleh to the new crap. i mean i know as a musician i be open minded to people wanting to make more music, but to me weezer are the geek version of the ramones. the ramones could not make the 3 chord catchy pop songs thing work after the seventies, it got stale. weezer cant keep hacking up stuff. and yes i forgot about the b sides, and cover velouria. but no new stuff.

    yeah. i absolutely agree, but part of me is still crossing my fingers theyll release some new good stuff.

    i think everyone would like to see them put out an album with all the b-sides and stuff. or the demos that are bad quality. id like to hear a better version of blast off..maybe wanda...saturday night [haha], anddd id like to hear them do better off alone the whole way through without messing up! hahaha. they have a lot of stuff they could rerecord and put on an album. but rivers is too weird to do that. or sensitive about his stuff.

    maybe if we convince kevin ridel, he can talk to rivers. since they worship eachother. ;]

    i dont know about re recording demo's. demo's have charm. however for the past coupla years weezer and good new stuff has been an oxymoron. my friend was so mad when she heard the new song, shes like augh! it has the we will rock you bea tin the background!

    the demos have charm but id like to see what theyd sound like with better quality [not messed with on computers or anything though], or live.

    some of the beverly hills lyrics sound like rivers was trying too hard to get the old fans back. complaining about preppy girls not liking him and stuff?

    the video is going to atract a whole new group of people, or people are just going to laugh at them. the first 30 seconds of it or whatever when pat is talking is the best, though.

    the whole part with pat talking is the best part of the video, i have to agree. lol pat is so funny, i laugh everytime i see that part.

    I love Pat soo much! He's too cute. As for "Beverly Hills" I have to say it's pretty catchy. I like it. There's not much Weezer's put out that I haven't liked.

    i loved is commentary on the weezer dvd, it was soo funny. pat is the coolest. after hearing beverly hills like a good 20x it gets catchy
