Do What You Want or Invincible?

after listening to these two songs, I'm quite dissappointed with both of them as singles. Good Idea, Let It Rain, or No Sign of Life would have a been a much better pick. thoughts?

    Invincible for me as well. I can actually see it being played on my local rock station, which is rare. To give them credit, they've finally started playing muse and a few other bands I really like, though.

    well i actually love both of them, and i think i like "do what you want" more of the two, but i could really see "invincible" on like a superhero show...maybe that superman show on the wb?whats it called again? small town? or something.....sorry i dont watch it

    I haven't voted yet. I just really can't decide, but I do love them both. I think they are both pretty fun and stand a good chance of doing well commercially.

    Am I the only one who noticed that Damian transposed some of the lyrics on the live recordings? Maybe it's just because I've listened to them all a million times over biggrin.gif

    I love them both. I voted for invincible. I think it's a bit more catchy and fun.

    I really want to see them live again. They better come back to Iowa/Nebraska this summer. And then California in the fall since that's where I'll be living.

    I voted for Do what you want because it sounds like it'd do well on radio. But I prefer Invincible, if that makes sense.

    i think people will like invincible better, i think its easier to get into without being a fan of the boys. personally i wish good idea or crash the party wouldve been better...











    mostly cause im anxious to hear the originals.

    Really? I thought that Do What You Want would be more catchy to people who haven't heard them before. I'm just basing that on a handful of friends who haven't heard of OK Go before though..

    I think it depends on your local radio stations as to what is radio friendly.
    Invincible could be played on my local station with their current playlist. Do what you want, I don't see happening at all, it's got a little too much pop to it, I think. And the stations that cater to the poppier side, I don't see OK Go going alongside Beyonce and Nelly.
    Do what you want has grown on me, though, a lot. It's more of a grower to me than invincible (which I liked from the first time I heard it on this modern life, and wanted to hear the full version so badly ever since), with Invincible I've gotten... not bored, but the original 'woohoo' is over.

    I have a feeling it might be a close vote, and I can see why it might've been hard to choose between the two.

    i found do what you want slightly boring, but that may just be because i wasn't at all expecting it, and i haven't listened to it a lot...

    I had to go with Invincible...but it was a difficult choice.

    After reading everyone's comments, I can understand why they put this to a formal vote. It will be very close, I think.
