Is anyone going? i so want to go! franz ferdinand, rilo kiley, bloc party, the secret machines, ambulance ltd and best of all spoon!!!! i love spoon soo much. i swear if i have enough money before sept. i'm going!!

Rilo Kiley is playing up here at UWEC this coming week for an AIDS benefit, I'll definitely be checking them out...

That definitely sounds like a great lineup though! I'm sure I'll have blown all my money on concerts by then, though.

yah i really have to start saving up now. i think the only other concert i'll go to if they come to texas hot hot heat, OK Go, and weezer.

i was looking at thaaat. is it an all day out door festival type thing?

out door festivals really arent worth it. its hot and the sound is bad. and you end up watching your favorite band with a bunch of drunk assholes instead of fans.

shrug. it can be fun though, i guess, if you go with a lot of friends or something.

yep yep! got my ticket a month ago. this will be my second acl fest and i'm very very stoked. julie is going as well. huzzah! yes, it is an outdoor all-day kind of thing, but there is no overnight camping. it was freaking hot last year! i can only hope that this year will be a little better. they're supposed to be setting up more shaded areas and cutting the crowds by 10,000, so that should improve things a bit.
