Hey all, I'm Matt. Just wanted to say hello. I'm totally jazzed about the new album. I used the word Jazzed, don't hold it against me. I'm 20 and from Southern Ontario and Just wanted to introduce myself. Some boards are kinda anal about making a new post just to say hello but whatever, I really wanna make some new friends out of this place.

Is it possible we're the same person? Ever see Back to the Future 2?

Ok. Here. This'll figure it out. How many hands do you have?

Yep. I've seen all 3 of those films actually, but that's my favourite. But to put an end to these coincidences, I'm actually called Matthew and I'm in England.

Well that's a shame. I was looking forward to all the good times I'd have with my clone. *sigh* oh well.

Yup, the 2nd is my favorite as well. Only cuz there's no happy ending. Great flick.

  • Hi Matt! Glad to see you're joining us on the boards.

Are you going to see OK Go when they play in Toronto at the end of the month? I have no clue where Hamilton, Ontario is. Forgive me for being an ignorant American smile.gif

Don't worry about it. It's like a mini Toronto. I don't know If I'm going to go. I mean I want to, more than anything. But the problem is, Toronto is like 45 minutes away, I'll probably take the go-train. Any idea how late they usually go on? Keep in mind, your answer will help me figure out if I'm going or not. Don't mess this up for me, heh.
  • Hmmm, as if finals aren't stressing enough, now I have to worry about giving a wrong answer here tongue.gif

Well, the last few shows I've seen, OK Go was done around midnight on average(show starting at 9). If someone else's show ended at a different time, post here so I don't mess everything up!!

I talked some friends into making the long drive to Montreal for the show there, but they have never listened to OK Go so they won't go to the Toronto show also.

You've answered rightly. I'll do my best to make it to the show.
  • Glad I could help smile.gif

Me as well. I asked my ride and I am most definetely definetely going. I am quite jazzed about it indeed. Are they easy to meet pre-show?

Oh and if anyone wants to add me to AIM or MSN please do, I wanna talk to some of you.
  • I've met them at both of the last 2 shows I've gone to. Usually they meet with people after their set, but I'm not sure how that's going to work since they aren't headlining. I was lucky and caught them before they went to the venue and while they were setting up also.

I'm pretty sure you'll get to talk to them though, I'm amazed how long they stick around to talk to the fans. Not many bands do that anymore.
