    That would certainly be . . . I don't know.

My sister woke me up this morning, asking me if I was going to my dad's house today. I said, "Am I going to dance today?" She said, "No, are you going to dad's today?!" Then I said, "Why am I going to dance today?"

Yeah that was random, but you should never wake someone up asking them a question. The person sleeping will be very confused and won't know where he/she is.

Happens all the times, folks. biggrin.gif
  • Ralphie is the name of my school mascot. Ralphie the Buffalo. True story.
  • I wish I had Ralphie the Buffalo as my school mascot. Instead I have a Wildcat...and I don't even know what his name is.
  • Ok, my school mascot is the Blugold. What the hell a Blugold is, no one knows. It's like a huge mystery on campus... and not cool at all.

At least you know what your mascot is lol.
  • My school mascot is a frickin' WAGON. That's right a WAGON. Why the hell is it a wagon, I don't know.

But, our school team is called the Pioneers. Wouldn't it make sense to have the school mascot to be a pioneer? But no, we have a WAGON!

    My school is stupid.
  • I don't even know if we have a mascot. We are called the ramblers because back in the day (like 1920) our teams didnt have place to practice so they went to different random schools and practiced and played there. So should our mascot be a hobo?

wow i wish there was a hobo as a team's mascott.. that'd be hilarious.
in highschool we were the jaguars, and in uni we're the gee gees (basically a horse) wOOt
  • We're the Pioneers because we go on without giving up! Or so the stupid school handbook says.

Last year we complained in English class because we didn't have a snow day ( I almost went in the ditch about 10 times on the way to school, the roads were horrible). Anyway, my teacher said, "Come on you guys! You're Pioneers! We always rough it out!" I could've pulled my hair out.

Haha, you know the best part? Our parents were pissed at the school because they didn't cancel either! That made me feel better.

You should have pointed out that a lot of Pioneers died in bad weather like that. Did your teacher never play Oregon Trail? Seriously.

Anyway, on the topic of mascots, my roommate went to a college in Minnesota her freshman year and their mascot was corn. As much as I love Ralphie, I'm pretty jealous of the corn peeps, I'm not gonna lie.
  • My school is two schools in one. So we're the Purple and White Rangers and the Black and White Penguins.

Hey, I was a Pioneer as well! It was in Michigan, too, but I was at Ann Arbor Pioneer. I never realized that the Pioneers is a common team name- it always seemed so random to me.

Our school crest has a wagon, but we do have a guy (or girl- can't tell) who runs around in a Davy Crockett-looking costume. In general it's not such a bad mascot to have, but I always thought it was rather redundant to be the Ann Arbor Pioneer Pioneers.
  • were friggin everest ever greens...thoes are trees......

That's cool! My school is so poor that we don't have a mascot (like a costume and stuff). But it is the wagon, not the pioneer at our school. It's stupid.

RejectedSponge, the Rangers remind me of the Power Rangers! That would be a funny mascot, but awesome too because no one else in my area would have it!
  • at my hs we were the vikings. which isn't too bad i don't think. we played this one town a few times who were the cheesemakers though. what kind of mascot is a cheesemaker? but i suppose this is wisconsin, and us wisconsinites love our cheese rolleyes.gif

haha. and in kentucky, there's a university (western kentucky university) who are the hilltoppers. and their mascot is this big red thing
    image
how is that a hilltopper? a big red blob??

our mascot is a friggin' MONK. Yeah, the kind with the obnoxious bald spot and all. Damn Jesuit school.
  • Wait, our mascot is a monk?
  • Yes, 'tis indeed.
