Thanks, Sadie! I think it would be interesting to see how Damian handles the vocals, since I think he's quite different from David Byrne in the voice department.
While I think it would be kind of cliche to have another band cover Michael Jackson, I think Damian would do well with "Billie Jean," and Tim could kill the bassline in a good way.
But I'd like to think that there's a fair few songs by other artists that OK Go could do well with.
In the music video for "Once in a Lifetime", when he does that thing with his hand down his arm (ok, I can't explain it, but if you've seen it, you know what I mean), it always makes me think of the guys in Las Vegas who are trying to give out flyers for the strip clubs. They do the same thing with the papers down their arms... so my aunt and I walked around the whole time doing the move and singing "same as it ever was, same as it ever was..."
I'll admit it. I'm an Elton John fan, I saw him in concert earlier this year.. but I don't know how well it would do as a cover.
I don't think we'll ever hear a Queen cover, or Beatles or Prince or anything like that.. for good reason. Damian won't touch the classics, and rightfully so.

When I was in high school a friend took me to an Elton John concert. She had an extra ticket and I think she was actually really embarrassed about the whole thing, but it was actually a great show. I guess I should've known that he was a great performer based on, you know, his reputation and personality and whatnot. And also his appearance on "The Muppet Show," which totally rocked.
I think I was actually most impressed by how his chubby, bloated little fingers flew over the keys. I don't think he was in the best of health at the time, but you wouldn't know it from the way he performed.
It was also just a novel experience for me as far as concerts go...that was the first concert I left without being covered in bruises and beer. I rather liked that. It was a bit strange being surrounded by people twice or triple my age who were singing and dancing along to "Crocodile Rock," but overall it was a very pleasant experience.
Oh, I almost forgot, the cover thing....yeah, I think the definitive cover of "Rocket Man" was already done by Stewie on "The Family Guy."
Totally do a kinks cover! All the day and all of the night or you really got me would be ideal! Not sure about Lola, if they covered it and butchered it it would break my fragile little heart
A Kinks cover would be cool. Though I think it would be awesome if they did "Have a Cuppa Tea." That song makes me want to laugh and dance at the same time.
I'd also like them to do a Rolling Stones cover. I'm not picky. Though "Sympathy for the Devil" might be cool, what with the "Good Idea at the Time" connection.
