red eye

edited November -1 in General Discussion
So who saw Red Eye? Who thought Cillian Murphy was deliciously creepy? Anyone have fun with the rest of the audience yelling at the girl to look behind the shower curtain? Does anyone else think I should not watch movies like that when I'll be flying by myself at least 4 times a year for the next four years?

u know what movie ppl should watch right before they fly ... Pushing Tin lol

i haven't seen red eye, and i'm not sure if i want to. i mean movies are bloody expensive and i'm a starving student so i must choose my movies wisely although cillian murphy may just make it worth it
  • yeah...lol i havent seen it yet

    but i la-la-looooove cillian murphy

    he's gorgeous and a half

lol i HATE horror movies, but ill watch it for him
  • I don't think its a proper horror is it? I was under the impression it was more a thriller... the trailer for it is so strange and confusing, so i may well be wrong!!!
  • Yeah it's not a horror movie, it's a thriller. Wes Craven plays with your mind in the movie--it's really pschyological (sp?!!). It's really tense, but it's not like Scream or Nightmare on Elm Street or such horror movies.

I also saw 28 Days Later recently, which is another Cillian Murphy movie...it was really good but don't ever watch that movie right before you go to bed (which I made the mistake of doing) or if you're alone. That is definitely a horror movie.
  • hahaha i loooooved 28 days later. thats one crazy movie. but it was sooo good.
  • I have never seen 28 days. Is it good? i think it is so I hear.
  • careful not to get 28 days. thats a sandra bullock alcoholic movie. not as good as 28 days later. which is awesome.
  • ahh!! Oh my god, yeah I meant 28 days later. I did see 28 days...bad choice, bad choice.
  • i saw the movie sat. and i really liked it. cillian murphy play such an awesome villian. plus rachel mcadams played a great role, i liked that her character didn't seem like the typically damsel in distress. and the scenes in the airplane didn't seem long and boring like certain movies *cough* phone booth *cough*. anywho both actors were great. plus like 85 min. of cillian murphy is way worth $6.50.

has anyone seen the still of his new movie breakfast on pluto? he is dressed in drag, and the boy looks great as a women. im totally jealous that he can pull off as a blonde, cause i can't biggrin.gif
  • my theater didn't get it, unfortunately... cause I really wanted to see it!

I think I'm going to try to talk myself into an AMC for free tomorrow night... I let some of their people into my theater last week.

  • i had to see it with my girlfriend last night and i thought it was gonna suck, but it actually wasnt half bad it was more of a thriller than a horror movie but it was a fun movie not really deep or anyhting, but it was fun specially the last half or so. good movie but one i'd only want to see once.
  • I've still yet to see this movie, but I really want to. I think my friend Andy and I are going to go see it. We both really like Cillian Murphy. tongue.gif
  • I went and saw it this past weekend with my little sister. I think she was embarrassed when I muttered "shit!" at a part where I knew what was coming, but just couldn't help myself : )
