If given the opportunity, which would you rather see in concert: the Strokes or Belle and Sebastian. I know some of you are major strokes fans, so any response I get will probably be in favor of the strokes concert, but I like both bands about the same, but for different reasons. So...anybody?
Cast parties are way too entertaining... particurally after an evening at a coffee shop getting love advice from a 50ish-year-old man known as "the Count."
I went to see the Shys and the Subways last night . . . amazing. Pictures Brad and I took will be in the photography post if anyone is interested (as soon as I get them loaded!)
Anyway, my car would not start at all . . . I was pissed. But my mom amazingly decided that she could take Brad and myself, which was great because we got to talk a lot.
Got to Detroit, and we immediately we were attacked by bums asking for quarters for "coffee". We found a huge line outside of a venue, waited outside in line for about 20 minutes FREEZING (Brad warmed me up though ). Once we got to the front we find out that the line for this was for a Wilco show. We were pissed. We had to walk down the street for the Subways show.
We did that, got in, and arrived just in time for the Shys to perform. They were amazing. I've been waiting since July for them to tour! It was definitely worth the wait. The Subways came off that, and they were just as good. They came back for an encore and performed "Rock & Roll Queen". Then everyone behind us started moshing. I never thought you could mosh at a Shys and Subways concert, but I thought wrong. Oh well.
Brad and I waited outside afterwards for about 45 minutes. My mom went to the casino . . . and we couldn't get ahold of her. So we sat outside and talked. And my sister called a billion times. It got annoying quickly.
My mom finally came, and on the way home Brad and I cuddled up together, talked, and eventually fell asleep . . . kind of. Best thing EVER.
ive been falling asleep fine lately but its like i cant get enough sleep no matter how hard i try. it sucks cause im really tired alot. i cant pay attention at all.
