Check it out. According to the board, members have posted more than 10,000 so we are catching up to our King of All Grandpas, Mr. Mr. Jorge, Whom I Adore, Whom I Adore! We may even surpass him before I even finish this thread...but who knows for how long...

Canyou unregister? that's the only logical reason to have a member with a higher number than the number of members
my logic led me to think maybe there are 6 people who hadn't activated they're accounts yet, and therefore aren't showing up as a registered member... but, then i don't remember if there were activation emails sent on this board?!?
aha!.. my logic was good... if you click on members up top, you can sort them by group, i clicked to sort by "validating" and there were 6 names listed!..
