Who bought the new album?

  • I bought it at Barnes and Noble, and luckily I had a gift card cause it was $19...that's absurd. I only paid $9 though, and I would have paid full price grudgingly, but really, I'm a poor college student. B&N sucks.

Now no one can ever accuse me of not supporting the guys (the 2 unopened ones are for my mom and my brother.. I haven't given them them yet)!!!
  • I love how if you get them at best buy it says something about being able to download the A Million Ways video.

I haven't tried it yet.. but I'm wondering if the quality of it is better than the online versions.. maybe more like the actual DVD, more crisp and bigger. Has anyone tried it?
  • I bought mine @ target @ 9:00 am, haha then drove off not to miss my 10:35 class. haha my day was totally awesome cause of the cd being released! biggrin.gif
  • my best buy rearranged the whole store. and so it took longer than it shouldve to find the cd. but alas, i found it. and i was happy.

my best buy doesn't even have the cd... no one here does.... grrr.... alas i must wait until they order it in for me *sigh*
  • I bought it at Best Buy somewhere around 11:30am. It took forever to find it, someone at Best Buy seemed to think some dude named Kanya West was more important to display over Ok Go. So it was sitting on the bottom of a shelf on a random music isle.

    Bitches.

But its mine. I preserved the wrapping. I preserve the memory. Thats how I see it.

I feel your pain. I tried HMV and music world in Burlington and had NO luck.
  • I guess I"m a really bad fan.

But I was packing all afternoon and then I worked 5-11. I'll buy it eventually (even though I've had a burned copy for a month now).

But YES, I will buy it!

yeh there is absolutely no where around me that carries the cd, so my friend rose and i are getting hmv to order it for us, but i think someone else posted earlier that canadian stores r suppose to be getting it in a week so if ur not ordering it then maybe try again in a week? and hopefully u'll have some luck

i shall harass the stores all week!

    *le sigh*
we get shafted!...but the brits don't get it til like october so we cant really complain can we!?...HECK YES WE CAN!
  • I bought it the day it came out, but I had to go to 3 different stores to get it. Border's didn't have it (which is probably a good thing considering Border's is above and beyond expensive), the local indie record store was SOLD OUT (They opened at 9...this was by 11:30)...so I made my way over to Target. I asked the lady if they had it and she guided me over the area where they display new releases...all OKGO slots were EMPTY...she took me to the general section...7 copies left, I bought 5 and she moved the other 2 to the front. She told one of the kids to restock that section and he said that he had been restocking them all morning and that those 2 were the last. ohmy.gif I didn't even think to ask how many they had ordered, it would have been intersting to see. biggrin.gif
