Need tix info for 10/31

Hey, are Rufus and OK Go really playing in DC on Halloween Night? Cuz Nightclub 9:30 doesn't seem to think so -- nothing on their Web yet. Would love some info on how to get tix. I would fly all the way from Michigan to see that combo. And might bring a friend from Chi-town. Since you never play on the home field anymore.

You're from Michigan? Where abouts?! YAY! Another OK Go fan from Michigan! I thought I was the only one on the board.

Anyhow, I wish my dad was going to be in D.C. during that time, I'd definitely go to see them. You know what, I think he is going to be in D.C.! Maybe I can go with him!

There was a Rufus/OK Go show in Chicago listed on his website for a few days, but then it was taken down... so I don't know what's going on with that.

I'm living in Midland. I'm really from Delaware, but have been here 13 years, and Michigan definitely feels like home. My dad lives in D.C., too -- small world. But I wouldn't dream of dragging him to an OK Go concert, and especially not Rufus Wainwright! I wouldn't be above crashing at his place to save on hotel, though.

I do hope there is more info coming about that show in DC. I tried registering for the presale tickets on Rufus' site, but they were all sold out. Can't find any mention of it on Ticketmaster, Tickets.com, etc. Not sure where else to look. Maybe I need to send a friend up to V street to ask at the club.

9:30 usually doesn't put stuff up until much closer til the date, and generally the shows don't sell out that fast, so just keep checking back.

I hate the 9:30 club.

My dad doesn't live in D.C., he visits every three months for check-ups with his doctor. It's a very very long story. But I do recall him saying he was going back in October sometime.
