Channel 1

Does anyone in High School watch Channel 1? If not, it's this little 15 minute news show for teens that is broadcasted through schools.

Anyway, I was in yearbook (3rd hour) and I was printing off photos I took of last week's football game. Channel 1 was starting and all of a sudden I hear "Do What You Want"! AHH! That's exactly what I did! I jumped out of the computer chair, turned around and yelled, "OK Go is on Channel 1"! I was so excited and happy!


Did anyone else happen to see it? I hope so! Everyone was laughing at me but it was a necessary reaction.

    I had no idea that there was another topic on the board about this, well sort of. I also didn't know that they played it in May, but they played it today.

    Maybe, I don't know. It might have been on a Tuesday or Thursday, when my school doesn't watch Channel 1 because we have DEAR (Drop Everything and Read). Stupid, stupid, stupid. I feel like I'm in 2nd grade when we do that.

    Don't feel bad, so is my school. If the millage didn't pass for our school this year, we would have to cut sports, other activities (band, drama), bussing, and 4 teachers. It almost didn't pass but thankfully it did.

    Our school's front yard looks like a trailer park because we have two portables classrooms there. We couldn't afford to expand to high school, but they could for the middle school! And they got air conditioning and new science labs! Doesn't that suck?! And that all came after I left the middle school. Grrrr.....
