Let's Make Buttons

edited November -1 in OK Go
Ok, so my RA(resident assistant, for those non-college folk) had a button making social tonight. Basically it was a bunch of girls from my floor sitting around and cutting things out of magazines and making buttons...which was so much fun. So, onto the point of the story. I really wanted to make an OK Go button...but *gasp* my printer wasn't working, so I couldn't print out goodies of the boys. I was so close to cutting up the liner notes from "Oh No" so I could have their heads on buttons when my RA told me she'd print out a picture of them for me. She did, and then everyone started asking me about OK Go. Long story short, they'd all seen the "funny dancing guys" on tv. It made me smile. And I was the all knowing OK Go fan...it was great.

For some reason the story seemed a lot better in my head. Weird.

  • I love being the all-knowing person when my favorite bands come up in discussions! It makes me very happy, too. biggrin.gif

  • GAH CARIN! buttons are great - we should mike wifey ones wink.gif HAHA
  • I wish we could do that in my hall, but I'm in an upperclassmen dorm at UVA this semester and they don't do fun bonding stuff. Hopefully once I get back to Tulane we'll get to do stuff like that. I love making buttons....
  • I want okgo buttons!
  • Mine are really shoddy...but I blame that on only having crappy, pixelated pictures to work with. We're going to do it again later this semester, so I'll have to make sure to get good pictures and make awesome buttons.
  • i have a couple of ok go pins and i wear them to work, and people ask me about them, it makes me happy.

i made everyone in my women's choir watch the million ways video during class today and they all loved it so much, i think everyone left an ok go fan. lol they also loved that silly instructional tennis table video.
