Green Street Hooligans

Has anyone seen this movie? It's amazing. Hollywood didn't pick it up, but it is playing around the States, and if you see a theatre near you playing it, you must go. Elijah Wood, Charlie Hunnam(yummy) in a movie about football(the British kind) hooligans. It's fantastic, and made me want to move to England...I kid you not.

Seriously, try and find if it's playing near you. It's amazing.

    ohhh i saw a trailer for that a few days ago.. i totally want to see that movie it looks really good!

    I hate the movie You Got Served, Crap crap crap! I haven't seen it, though I hate it intensely, I hate it with a passion!

    Elijah Wood(who is by far not my favorite) does an amazing job. I really can't sing anything but praises about this movie. And the fact that it's indie and is so amazing, just shows you how dumb Hollywood can be sometimes.

    The movie rocks balls! I thought it was great.. I'm bot a football(soccer) fan, but my brothers are and they quite enjoyed the whole Hooliganism thing... I think it's pretty rad though... these people are TOOOOOOO passionate lol it's great biggrin.gif........ and don't be dissing the EW... he's my little shorty tongue.gif

    Haha...I love Charlie Hunnam...quite amazing, but I may be biased. I'm also extremely happy to know that someone else has seen it. YAY!

    football/soccer, British hooligans and accents, Elijah Wood ("adventures of huck finn" is a childhood fave movie of mine), Stone Roses: "i wanna be adored!" cool.gif

    I hope they show it somewhere in Chicago. I haven't seen any trailors for it though. What is it about? If I see that it's around here though, I'll try to check it out. It's about time I saw an actual good film in theaters.

    The only other football (soccer) movie I've seen that I liked was Bend It Like Beckham. love it!

    I'm such a geek! I love Bend It Like Beckham.

    And, just for your information(and I'm trying to spread the GSH gospel as much as possible) it is playing in Chicago at the AMC River East 21.

    Definitely check it out if you can. It's amazing. Much more serious then Bend It Like Beckham, but five times better.
