  • Tis true sad.gif I am very sad... I cried for like 15 minutes. My boyfriend probably thinks Im crazy.
  • if he thinks your crzy...stab his nise with the stub...that'll learn him
  • that's awful!! My sister had to take hers out less than a month after she got it cause her nursing school professors didn't like it....it sucks that people won't let people have piercings--if it's a small stud, it's not really unprofessional.

mine was only like 2 weeks I think. Maybe 3 weeks but I tried so hard to get it back in but I wouldn't push it hard enough to pop it through cause I knew it would hurt so I ended up with a swollen nose

So I am VERY sad... I tried to put my retainer in my nose today cause I can't have the metal one with my new job... and when I took the metal out I couldnt get the retainer in and now it's closed sad.gif
what a bummer! i'm so sorry. i'd probably cry too if that happened to me... sad.gif

are nose holes different than earlobe holes, in that you can't go very long without a ring or stud or it will close up? i very rarely wear earrings anymore, but i still have my piercings.
  • Yeah, nose holes close up pretty fast. Though all piercings that are new close really fast, even earlobes.

ah, i see. yeah, i used to wear earrings all the time for years, but now i've gone a few years without really wearing any...except for my upper cartilage ring cuz that one is cool.
  • healed piercings can be left out, but since it was brand new it closed. I can leave my tongue ring out for a few hours... atleast like 10, beyond that I don't know. but my ears I can go months and months

are you gonna re-pierce your nose, sometime after the swelling of course? and how long is the healing process usually?
  • they told me 8 weeks... it's my own fault really. but I don't think I will redo it. I can't have it in at work, that is why I was trying to put in the retainer to begin with. I should have known better to do a facial piercing I guess. I want another piercing but I don't really know what else to pierce.
  • Well what others do you already have?
  • i knowe a few girsl who have clit piercings...who the hell would u trust to do that to you maN!

    i dunno scares me shitless~
  • I have 2 other piercings, my tongue and my belly button. Thinking about a second tongue ring next time I have 2-3 days off work to let the swelling go down so I don't sound like I have a mouth full of something.

and as far as like below the waist piercings... no thank you, I don't want some stranger messing around down there with needles. I know a guy who has some down there though and he said that for guys they hurt very little...
  • You could get your tragus pierced....I love mine and it looks pretty cool. Oh and it doesn't hurt that much.
  • Really? I have heard those hurt a lot
  • do i want to know what a tragus is?
  • haha nothing dirty i can assure you.. it's part of your ear.. i'll get a picture to show you....

random picture of a tragus piercing
  • =O

how do you clean your ears?
  • it is a challenge but it's not too hard. It hurt the day I got it, but I didn't cry or anything...and it hasn't hurt since.
