    buff and fit are used in the same context as each other, also Lush is in there, as in

    "oh my lily alan is lush"

    4) Thanks, Andy, for explaining - fit and buff are the same. No one uses "lush" (at least, no one in London); in fact Andy is the only one I know to ever use it, about Lilly Allen of all creatures. Few people use 'hot' here, but I use it and I'm slowly affecting my friend's who're staring to use it too biggrin.gif
    Oh, and 'minging' here means ugly. Just throwing that one out there for you.

    You-know-who and I got into a big argument one time about the meaning of "fit." I was like, "It's just a synonym for 'hot'!" He was like, "It's short for 'fit to fuck'!"

    Which really, aren't all that different, honestly, but we still argued about it. blink.gif
