I am working on my bloggo to tell you all about my Hopi Reservation experiences. In the meantime, here are a few pics. There was an Indian Day. The Hopi dental assistants put together an outfit for me to wear to the corn dance. I got to perform the corn dance w/ other people who worked at the health care center. Presenting Dr. Tempe Arizona Medicine Woman (or whatever that cool Dr. Quinn nickname is that Agentnumone gave me)

It was hard for the dental assistants to put together an outfit for me because I am tall and have big feet. I ended up buying the shoes. I love them! I want to wear them all the time. I got the last big size the store had.

The baby boy known as my grandson will be either a rock star or the first Asian President of the United States. One of my classmates gave birth to him. She's the first person I've been close to to have a baby. We spent all last year working on a school project as she grew bigger and bigger with pregnancy. We became close friends, so when she finally had the baby, I declared him my grandson.

Speaking of which, I must pay him a visit! It's been a few months since I've seen him. I wanna pinch his little cheeks. Next time I see him, I will pinch his cheeks for all of you.

I have to admit I didn't know who Gidget was, so I clicked and to my surprise, Sally Field! That is an enormous compliment- thank you very much! I loved Sally Field ever since I was little, because my fav movie was and still is Mrs. Doubtfire. (I always cry at the end. I will forever associate Dude Looks Like a Lady with that movie) And now she's on those Boniva commercials! Oh, what a long way she has come!

There was something else I wanted to ask you- did you get to keep that reservation outfit? I know it's supposed to have spiritual meaning and I'm awful to say this, but it just looks so trendy and cool on you! I knew a girl who used to wear Pilgrim-type skirts; she was very artsy and her clothes just looked so fresh. Like yours!

Well, Gidget, no I was not able to keep the Rez outfit. I bought the shoes, so they are my lovelies. One of the necklaces was mine. (My roomate made me wear it because I bought the necklace in a village and it's a gift for my mom. My roomate thought it'd be neat to send it to my mom after it was worn in an actual ceremony, that way the gift would have even more meaning.) It's not awful to say the outfit is hip. The Hopi ladies I worked with would love to hear that. The outfit did come together nicely. My roomate looked even better. It'd make for a really cool fashion trend, the only problem is it's a lot of layers to wear. But I say, let's do it!

I'm going as Warhol for Halloween.

I spent a good part of Saturday preparing my costume, having my boyfriend tape down my boobs (ROMANTIC) and watching videos of Andy online to try and get his speech pattern/mannerisms down (which was much harder than it seemed).
