Why is the Chicago show 18+ now? This really sucks. I guess I can't see them in Chicago OR Ann Arbor now.

I saw that they were playing in Toronto, too, but that is 19+! I would go there because I live 4 1/2 hours from there.

I've been getting bad news all day. I guess I won't be seeing OK Go this year, and the damn Redwalls aren't coming to Michigan with Hot Hot Heat so I'm going to try to see them in Buffalo, NY but I doubt that will happen.

Damn bad news.

Sorry for my ranting. If you were in my position today you would be upset too.

    That could work. I need a fake ID badly.

    I would only use it for concerts though. All the people at my school use them for clubbing in Canada. Why?!?!? They all go to Sarnia and go clubbing. huh.gif

    Are you sure it's 18+??? No way. Why would it be!? I chose to be in denial.

    It's not 18+. on the Metro website it said that for hot hot heat, but when someone I know emailed the place, they said it was all ages. Also, ticketmaster says it's all ages.

    I am going to git someone. So, I went to the metro to purchase my ticket. When I asked if it was all ages she said "yes...wait let me check...so she went to go check to see if it was all ages on the computer and it said 18+. I did not know how to react. I am in no mood to be messed around with. I almost hit several people on the way home. Grizzley can back me up on this one. I am gonna git someone and I am gonna git them quickly. I need to invest in a fake id and quick. I am totally going to the ones in Madison/St. Louis now.

    yeah i was pretty scared. you almost killed me and other innocent people. i think an excellent term to describe this unfortunate turn of events is "oh, snap brother!"

    on the annex website (the place in madison) it says that ok go is 18+ there too. but, i'm getting ready to e-mail them here in a minute to make sure. and to try and talk them into changing it if it is in fact 18+. i'll keep ya updated if you want me to biggrin.gif

    I think that Ok Go should do what they did like a month ago. Where when the show wasn't all ages, they meet the under age people at some place after the show. (HINT HINT Mr. Mr. Jorge, Whom I Adore, Whom I Adore)....actually I wasn't hinting at it, I just came out and said it.

    Just go there and say that you're under 18 but pretty close, and you just want to see them live, 'cause your poor dieing grandmother gave you the money to get the ticket, and if they don't let you, you will kill their families, easy as that!

    Well, I could tell them that I drove over three hours to see one of my all time favorite bands (which would be true). They'd have to let me in! Or I'll sneak around back when OK Go arrive and maybe they'll let me in with them. LET ME BE A TEMPORARY ROADIE!

    Franz Ferdinand has a girl roadie. When I saw them play a couple of weeks ago (kick-ass show, BTW), I just stared at her and thought, "OH MY GOD I WANT YOUR JOB."

    OK Go: I bet Jaded would make a great roadie. I bet she can carry heavy things, and you guys plug in your own stuff anyway!
