A couple years ago I went to Cedar Point (The world's BEST amusement park) for a couple of days in the summer. It was way too hot to walk around, it was almost 100 degrees, I think. Anyhow, I spent most of my time at Soak City in the lazy river.
When I came home my shoulders were so burnt, I couldn't even lift my arms. They became all blistered and scabby, it was disgusting and very very painful. Ouch.
I am incredibly pale. Kids at my gradeschool called me "albino girl", and frankly I am fine with that. I don't understand why so many people feel the need to resemble a citrus fruit. I actually wrote an essay about this situation last year and it is really funny (not to brag). Being orange PALES in comparison to one's natural tone...hehe wow I am on fire with the puns tonight!!
then there are the fake and bake ppl who feel its a good idea to sit on a cancer bed and "tan"....give it up ladies you look like leather *shudders*
exactly. i don't care for the idea of subjecting skin to uv rays or radiation for what...darker, older skin and perhaps skin cancer? i vote for healthy, protected skin, or at least not damaging skin on purpose.

I applaud you. I wish you could hear it....but well yeah, you can't.
