So. AP has this thing where they have an AP readers poll, and also interview musicians about the same poll
This one was "Can a band have style AND substance?"
I opened to see a nice large picture of damian gracing the page. very very VERy nice surprise
here is what he says

"In the realm of rock 'n'roll, style is substance. It's been 50 or 60 years now of the same few instruments and the same simple chord progressions; in purely musical terms, not much has changed since Chuck Berry. What rock has been about this whole time is delivering those same ideas with style. The swagger of Jimi Hendrix or the fury of Ian MacKaye -- that's the style and substance of rock. It's what keeps pop ,usic so compelling. Just a few notes and a simple beat can somehow transmit so much emotion, so much attitude, so many meanings."

AP really loves the OK Go.

    And that is why Alternative Press is my favorite magazine ever. They've had something related to Ok Go in all but one--I think--issue since the summer. yay!

    My Chemical Romance is on it (GITD will be HAPPY)
    and it's the january issue... meaning its out now?
    its the bands to lookforward to in 2006 issue

    I scoped it out today in B&N. The pic of Damian is GREAT- he's wearing PINK, it's so cute. Unfortunately, I didn't buy it because I was already buy a bajillion dollars worth of magazines. Can someone scan in and post the pic?

    ahhh, I love the Bands to Watch issues!! And MCR is on the cover again?! I don't want to wait two weeks til I get home to read it.

    I don't know whats with the find a pix thing. I'm trying to sign onto the snapandshare website, but it won't let me. I'll post it again, but its gonna be a lot smaller.
